Renewable energy

EnergiAcres food centers integrate renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind power, into their power generation system, blending and buffering power products and stored on site. Each food center oversizes power generation, serving the regional community with the power needed for transportation electrification.


EnergiAcres food centers use various technologies, such as AI and IoT, to optimize resource use, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. For example, they use AI to monitor crop growth and optimize water and nutrient use. AI is also deployed to produce and manage the power consumed onsite or stored on the grid.


EnergiAcres food centers are designed circularly, using materials that can be easily reused, recycled, or composted. Food centers also use closed-loop power and food production systems to minimize waste and promote sustainable resource use.

Elimination of waste

EnergiAcres food centers design out waste using closed-loop systems, such as composting waste biomass and recycling, to minimize waste and maximize resource efficiency. Capturing emissions from power production reduces emissions of CO2 and instead sends it to greenhouses for plant consumption.


EnergiAcres food centers promote innovation and support circular entrepreneurs by partnering with Universities and research institutions to extend research, development, and commercialization through the platform.


EnergiAcres food centers optimize efficiency in every area, from power production with CHP energy production to emissions scrubbing, and injection CO2 emissions into CEA grow centers. Each greenhouse includes automation and control of production from distribution to consumption. For example, they use vertical farming techniques to maximize space and reduce the land needed for food production.

Economic Development
