EnergiAcres' Circular Model
Revolutionizing Sustainability
Shaping Sustainable Energy and Food Systems
EnergiAcres is central in connecting energy and food systems in a transformative Public Private Partnership in Appalachia.
EnergiAcres circular model for sustainability blends natural and abundantly available local resources in a sustainable way.
Project Everberry is a groundbreaking initiative designed to transform how Appalachia communities grow, distribute, and consume fresh food. Project Everberry will link local food hubs in West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania through state-of-the-art, energy-efficient greenhouses, directly addressing food security challenges and supporting sustainable, local agriculture.
Project Everberry exemplifies EnergiAcres’ vision of creating scalable, circular energy solutions that bridge energy systems with sustainable food production. In partnership with Grow Ohio Valley, CNX, and leading Appalachian universities, Project Everberry establishes Food Centers—innovative hubs where advanced energy systems meet vertical farming. These centers use cogeneration, solar energy, and smart energy management to reduce reliance on traditional power grids, empowering data centers and industries to meet growing demands sustainably. This model supports data centers in reducing their environmental footprint and enriches communities by strengthening food security, creating local jobs, and fostering agritourism. Together, we are transforming energy and food systems to leave a lasting, positive impact in Appalachia and beyond.
